We cater for every type of Heating System, whether you have a Combination Boiler, an ordinary Boiler with hot water Cylinder, or one of the newer Mains Pressure hot water systems. All types of Plumbing and Drainage Systems are comprehensively covered, showing you how to tackle any conceivable problem.

We will show you how to install a complete heating system, from sizing radiators and choosing a boiler. Installing your own heating will save you around £2000, much more if you have a large house.

You’ll be shown how to fit a Garden Tap; we will even show you how to fit a new Bathroom Suite or Shower. Everything explained to you in plain language accompanied by clear and concise diagrams and pictures. This website will help you with 95% of your Heating and Plumbing problems, and the other 5% will be resolved by our unique E Mail service, which is available free of charge to our members.

We will show you how to restore your Heating Systems efficiency so that it’s “as new”. Even new houses waste their owners a fortune every year because the Heating is not set-up correctly. Forget about Energy Saving Light Bulbs, they will only save you a tiny fraction of your energy costs, and take years to pay for themselves, if they ever do.

We will show you how to make massive savings on your Heating bills at no cost at all. These savings can be achieved by having nothing more than an Adjustable Spanner and a Bleed Key.

Tenants too can make huge savings by following our advice (it’s so easy a child could do it), your Local Council or Private Landlord is not interested in saving you money, only in collecting rent and carrying out essential repairs.

We will show you how to add, or change, heating controls, which will make your heating much more efficient. This is pretty straightforward for anyone who is reasonably handy.

When your heating System breaks down, we will show you how to locate the faulty component and replace it, again, with clear instructions, supported by diagrams and pictures, where appropriate, of how to carry out the work. All of this will save you an enormous amount of money. Typical cost of changing a Pump or Motorized Valve is between £160-£260, much more if you live in an Urban area, you can do it yourself for around £40.

All these different measures not only save money, they save the environment from tons of Greenhouse Gases and therefore Global Warming. The measures we tell you to take save far more than the installation of a Condensing Boiler, which by itself, only saves around 5% of energy costs. The figures that are quoted about the energy savings, when somebody is trying to sell you a Condensing Boiler, whilst not actually a lie, don’t tell you that these Boilers only Condense for a very small time and that for 95% of the time they are no more efficient than a standard Boiler. You will never recoup the cost of fitting one even if you do it yourself.

We will show you how to change Radiators, and importantly, how to size the Radiators, so that the heat output matches the room and doesn’t make the room too hot or too cold; increasing your comfort and saving energy at the same time. We will also show you how to change Radiator Valves, and which ones to choose. It’s not just a case of fitting any old Valves, although from a lot of the installations we see, that is exactly what happens.

Don’t be fooled into taking out Service Contracts, the largest provider of these has been shown in the Media, over and over again, to being not much more than a con. There are so many exclusions in the small print of their contracts. If they actually agree that your particular claim is valid, they make the repair that was required in the first place.

They also tell you that your Boiler is obsolete and parts are no longer available, when in reality parts are available for almost all Boilers, and we will tell you where to get them. Oh, and by the way, the cost of that new Boiler that you don’t always say that you need a Powerflush, for which they charge an additional £500, before they actually need is between £3000-£5000. So much for peace of mind.

We will show you how to replace Cylinders, of any type, and how to replace Immersion Heaters. Everything explained to you in plain language, enabling you to carry out repairs, safe in the knowledge that you won’t have a disaster.

For those with more advanced skill level, we will show you how to locate faults on your Boiler and Heating System, and how to safely remedy them.

There are a great many so-called Heating Engineers who haven’t a clue when it comes to finding the cause of a particular problem on your Heating System. They then begin to change components without knowing if it is faulty or not, and you pay the price; typically between £50-£150 per hour for their ignorance, this is on top of the cost of parts. This is not to say they are all the same, there are a great many good Engineers, but knowing who is good or bad is the difficult part.

Even if you don’t want to do the repairs yourself, it is good to know the cause to stop you being ripped off.
